Bringing decades of experience in the outfitting/trail ride business, Randy started his career leading pack strings and guiding hunters into the Wind River Range of Wyoming.
The trail then led him to 10 seasons of managing a trail ride facility in the Sawtooth Mountains north of Sun Valley, Idaho. The Black Hills chapter began in 2000 at the Allen Ranch in Hot Springs, SD; expanding to the Custer area in 2003.
In addition to leading rides, Randy has been a farrier for 40 years and keeps the string of
horses’ feet shod and in tip top shape!

Peggy has operated all facets of Rockin R Rides for the past 23+ seasons. She single handedly ran the Allen Ranch operation the first year in 2000 and then managed the growth of the Heritage Village location since 2003. She is not only the voice
on the other end of the phone line, Peggy also has miles/hours of saddle time guiding rides as well! In addition to Rockin R Rides; she has a 3 plus decade career as a licensed Physical Therapist, is a certified equine sports massage therapist since 2004 and a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner of equine
bodywork since 2018 and is now a Masterson instructor.

Kat has been with Rockin R Rides for 15 + seasons starting out doing chores after school to progressing to being one of most experienced guides in the Black Hills! With innumerable hours in the saddle, Kat is a highly skilled guide with extensive knowledge of the Black Hills.
Kat is also a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner since 2018 and now a Masterson instructor. She is extremely dedicated to keeping the hard working horses in prime working condition.
In addition to being an invaluable member of Rockin' R Rides, Kat also has an equine consulting business - helping horses and their people become better partners.
